Airtel revised their previous money transaction charges on July 2026 which increased the fees users pay to move money to other mobile networks. Currently, sending money from Airtel to Airtel costs nothing, sending KSh 500 to MPESA costs KSh 7 and withdrawing KSh 500 from an Airtel agent costs KSh 29. Sending the other way, from MPESA to Airtel Money, costs the same fee because both networks charge by the same bands.
